What if you show up to vote next Tuesday and election workers say you are not registered?
- Make sure you are at the correct voting precinct. You can check at My Polling Place or call 1-866-OUR-VOTE for assistance.
- If you are at the correct polling place and officials claim you are not registered, request a provisional ballot. It's your right under the law.
Please pass this on to as many people as you can.

Oh yes, and please vote! Because if they tamper with your voting machines there'll be more votes to override this potentially very serious issue!
And here I put in a shamless plug for a documentaryon a very important issue http://www.votergate.tv
One of the many things I enjoy about my home state (Wisconsin), is that a voter can register on election day. I don't see the logic in having it any other way. Voting is a fundamental right, we shouldn't have to file paper work weeks in advance to practice it. I also don't see the need to registration at all. A government issued ID should be all that required to vote.
