caution: this medication spoof may cause serious laughter

Via 37 Signals, this side-splittingly funny faux pharmaceutical ad: Panexa (Acidachrome Promanganate). I laughed ‘til I cried.

Laughed till you cried? It never ceases to amaze me what some people find hilarious. I certainly understand the parody , but it isn't that funny.

i think it very funny: there is an overemphasis on pills in this world, and persons don't try to fix problems without meds.

It also brings up the powerful media relationship that pharmeuciticals have with advertisers. Is does have a social cost: such ads adbust, or bring to surface a big problem through comedy. A good satirical situation can get persons thinking again.
