Via this meteorological data site, which shows annual averages for cloudiness:
Hard to believe it will be better in Seattle, but it sure looks that way.

Ahhhh. This is a very useful site. I can't believe it that Rochester has less clear days and about the same amount of cloudy days. It's that whole partly cloudy (or should we say partly sunny) that's the true variable here, huh? To tell you the truth I've only been to Seattle a dozen times and every time it was beautiful and sunny. My luck I guess!
I came upon this site by accident and as I
grew up between Brighton and Honeye falls it got my attention. I have been in Arizona for the last 26 years, but it's strange how I will always watch the news and see what kind of climate back home gets.
I have many relations still there , between Greece arcadia and Chili (sp?)etc. My cousins are in the shoe repair business, at 12 corners, southtown and Pittsford plaza's , give them a try and mention my name. I need to go visit.
Thanks for listening,
Dave
