That would make a great poster :)

That is a great pic indeed.

I watched the eclipse from my attic window, the tiny one in the dormer we call star-treck alley. The moon was more gold than silver, though, except when the clouds moved over it, like a veil.

Those pictures got me thinking about the moon, how it appears in poems. About Diana, Goddess of the Hunt. About Greece and England, and Queen Elizabeth I:

Queen, and huntress, chaste and fair,
Now the sun is laid to sleep,
Seated in thy silver chair,
State in wonted manner keep :
√Ǭ √Ǭ Hesperus entreats thy light,
√Ǭ √Ǭ Goddess excellently bright.

Earth, let not thy envious shade
Dare itself to interpose ;
Cynthia's shining orb was made
Heaven to clear when day did close :
√Ǭ √Ǭ Bless us then with wish√ɬd sight,
√Ǭ √Ǭ Goddess excellently bright.

Lay thy bow of pearl apart,
And thy crystal shining quiver ;
Give unto the flying hart
Space to breathe, how short soever :
√Ǭ √Ǭ Thou that mak'st a day of night,
√Ǭ √Ǭ Goddess excellently bright.

(Ben Jonson)

great photos: was that digital or old fashion film;

also the biomedical stuff, does she play around with skin tone images? wounds?

she has this one carnival image that is really cool: there was alot of motion captured in the image with light. lots of aplication in capturing motion with digital, but the lighting stuff is really tricky with the shutter speed.

You took a cool picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
