Great taste in music, but I can't think of that song and not have my mind boggled that kids spent the entire summer of 1984 driving around in their cars singing along to a brooding, melancholy song with no bassline. Rock and roll!

No bass line? That song? It's got a killer bass line! Think about the "Dig if you will the picture, you and I engaged in a kiss" opening...it's all about the bass.
