Great taste in music, but I can't think of that song and not have my mind boggled that kids spent the entire summer of 1984 driving around in their cars singing along to a brooding, melancholy song with no bassline. Rock and roll!

No bass line? That song? It's got a killer bass line! Think about the "Dig if you will the picture, you and I engaged in a kiss"'s all about the bass.

Sorry, I mean bass line like from a bass guitar, not the rhythm track, which is, of course, fantastic.

Wow does that trigger memories. Memories verging on flashbacks that is...
